Differences between Eastern and Western Dialects

I would like to know the major differences between the two and would also like to add that the addition of a pdf to the language course would aid in the instances that the pronunciations aren't so definite. I have enjoy the materials thus far and hope to see more released.

I think the main differences are word order and pronunciation. the s is normally pronounced like sh, and the ts like a 'j", although I've heard many North Carolina natives pronounce it as 'z'

The basic difference that I see is that certain sounds are different in either case, for example where we say in the Western dialect ᎭᏢ ᎮᎦ-meaning where are you at, you can hear ᎭᏨ ᎮᎦ-meaning the same thing in the Eastern dialect. That's just one example, I'm certain there are a lot more, as well as different expressions, but I conclude that it's mostly where the sound is contained in a word that makes a difference.

For the replies I figured it was a pronunciation thing. I have been listening to Ed Fields and have learned a great deal from his archived sessions.

I would love to learn the eastern dialect. Is the audio I downloaded to my phone basic Cherokee language or is it pretty one sided far as western/eastern dialect? I want to learn the eastern dialect cause I'm trying to bring the culture into my family. My wife & I both have Cherokee in our family, she has more than me I think cause you can see the native in her & pick the ones out in her family too. For now language & way of life is the best way I know to pass it on to my 6 month old girl.
