Beginning Cherokee / "ᏔᎵᏍᎪ ᎦᎵᏉᎩ ᏗᏕᎵᏆᏍᏙᏗ ᏣᎳᎩ ᏗᎪᏪᎵ"

I was looking at the cover of Beginning Cherokee and realized I am mostly understanding the Cherokee subtitle.

"ᏔᎵᏍᎪ ᎦᎵᏉᎩ ᏗᏕᎵᏆᏍᏙᏗ ᏣᎳᎩ ᏗᎪᏪᎵ"

Looks like it says (to me), Twenty-Seven Lessons (of/in) Cherokee Writing.

Everyone is entitled to one dumb question a day..here is mine.
I haven't had a chance to look through all of this site yet but
from what I have seen so far, ya'll are studying from the book
Beginning Cherokee??

If so, although I would be an absolute beginner, do ya'll have
room for one more learner?

If I'm right about the Beginning Cherokee, I will go and purchase
the book this week-end.

Wado,

No so much.

I use it only occasionally for reference material.

I have been creating my own lessons using the Cherokee-English Dictionary as my primary source material:

My concept is to take the linquistics version of information and convert it into learn from written and audio exercises. With the help of ᏣᎵ and others.

Wado! Also, have you taken any of the CNO classes?
Ed is really good. I have some notes from his class
which help me out a lot.
I think I will go buy the Beginning Cherokee book
tonight. If I'm going to learn the western dialect,
I'm going to need all the help I can get. lol
